HSE
Communications
Company HSE
communicates on different levels with project employees and external parties
through the following ways:
·
Weekly construction meeting
·
Weekly HSE meeting
·
Project stand-down meeting
·
Job safety analysis meeting
·
Project daily toolbox meeting
·
Project weekly management safety tour and its close-out
meeting
·
Project client, company, and third-party audit
·
Regular daily safety walks and inspection
·
Incident investigation report
·
HSE training
·
Grievances collection and disposal
·
Procedures, plans, and specific task method statements review
·
HSE notices and HSE Bulletin boards
·
HSE alerts, signs, slogans, etc.
A monthly HSE
report shall be submitted to the client within the first week of each month.
The report shall consist of project lagging and leading indicators and any
other concerns that the project would highlight to the senior management following
provided format to the project.
HSE Reports
will be officially submitted to the client via the project's official
communication channels.
HSE Bulletins, Alerts, and
Notice Board Information
Current
regulatory agency directives, company directives related to incident prevention,
and HSE guidelines that employees shall know. HSE Bulletins are issued by the
Company's HSE department.
Company HSE
Alerts, Regulatory Compliance Bulletins, and Special Bulletins are issued to the
project as a learning and incident prevention tool These Alerts and Bulletins
often describe actual incident occurrences and lessons learned in multi-languages.
Specific HSE
meetings might be organized by the company for all corporate-controlled
projects about HSE issues discussion, new HSE requirements, policy delivery,
and publicity.
A site notice
board will be provided with the following information:
·
Emergency contact list project and location map.
·
Telephone numbers of emergency services.
·
Name location and telephone number of the nearest medical
assistance.
·
Route map and telephone number of the nearest hospital.
·
Location of first aid equipment.
·
Copy of the emergency response plan.
·
Copies of any local legislation.
·
Copy of the HSE plan.
The company
will erect signs & barricades at strategic locations throughout the project
area to inform persons of HSE rules, unsafe conditions, and other locations
with specific HSE concerns. Project
signage & barricades will be highly visible and "symbolic" format
as practical to be easily understood by workers.
Examples of
project signage and barricades are as follows:

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required.
·
No Smoking – No Open Lights
·
High Voltage – Electrocution Hazard
·
Hazardous Materials.

Flammable.
-
Corrosive.
-
Toxic.
-
Reactive.
·
Safety Cones & Tape.

To restrict access to hazardous areas.

To notify persons that hazards exist.

To control the movement of vehicles and equipment.
