-          Ensure excavation should be a hard barricaded area

-          Ensure equipment shall be away from the edge

-          No one person stands nearby the edge of the excavation

-          Ensure proper use of excavated material for backfilling

-          QC inspector checks the material before starting the backfilling

-          Excavated material shall be kept in a good way to avoid slip trips fall

-          Proper barricading shall be placed and Traffic control, Caution, and Awareness signboards shall be placed for each excavation

-          Flashlights shall provide for the barricading for ease of identification during the night times

 

 

-          All equipment & tools shall be inspected (Compactor, Grader, vibrator, etc.)

-          Banksman shall control the movement of the vehicles, equipment

-          Follow mandatory requirements.

-          The work area shall be backfilled and reinstated after the completion of the work

-          The compactor operator shall be trained and experienced

-          Ensure the switch is off while the refueling

 

 

-          Workers shall be rotated to avoid exposure to prolonged vibration

-          Anti-vibration gloves (gel gloves) shall be used

-          Ear plugs/ear muffs shall be used to avoid exposure to noise

-          Noise monitoring shall be carried out

-          Water showering and avoid dust

-          Display safety signage
