- Ensure trained & experienced technicians are involved in this activity - No work shall be allowed at the energized system. - Ensure before starting the work that the system is fully isolated and not energized. - Proper isolation of the system shall be tested before the work. - Hand tools/gloves used shall be of respected voltage ratings with isolated handles and shall be fit for work. -

Conduct
toolbox talks to highlight the hazards associated and controls that are
implemented for it. -
Hand
tools and equipment shall be inspected before work and all the damaged tools
shall be removed.

at height training shall be provided to staff. -
Usage
of safety harness shall be ensured and it shall be inspected before work to
check for any damage/wear tear or incomplete part.

The
platform provided shall have sufficient space present to work freely.

The
platform shall be properly tied or placed on the surface to avoid any
movement.

All
the tools and equipment shall be tied or placed securely on the platform to
avoid a fall.

The
platform shall contain a proper anchoring point or it shall be placed near
the area where the anchoring point is present.
